Zig Zags - Coffee Cup Sleeve

Worked in the round

 

Materials:

• small amount worsted weight yarn (27 to 37m/ 30 to 40 yards). You can use wool, cotton or acrylic in 2 contrasting colours. Each fiber will give the sleeve a different level of heat protection.
• 3.75mm/US5- DPNs

 

Stitch Legend:

 

Blank squares = knit  in colour indicated (or your choice)

Xs = purl in colour indicated (or your choice)

 

coffee cup sleeve approx 9" to 11" around.

 

20 stitches and 28 rows in stockinette = 4 inches on US 5/3.75 MM needles

 

Cast on 46sts and work in the round. When you finish the chart, cast off fairly loosely and weave in your ends!
